Private Clubs Magazine features CPAI
| HANDY HELPER: Need to find a rare vintage of a favorite Merlot? What about getting help organizing that charity golf event next month? Or hiring a new housekeeper? Consider those problems solved. Dionne Muhammad, a member at the One Ninety One Club in Atlanta, and founder of Celebrity Personal Assistants Inc., is a self-described lifestyle consultant, specializing in helping clients handle tasks they are too busy or unable to complete themselves. "If something is important to a client, then it is important to me," Muhammad says. In 1999, dismayed with her job as a manager in the technology industry, she launched CPAI. Her client list steadily grew by word of mouth and includes movers and shakers from the entertainment industry, the business world, and professional sports, as well as people who just need a helping hand every once in a while. She personally selects, trains, and matches her employees to the clients — according to each client’s specific needs and the lifestyle consultant’s specific area of expertise. CPAI will make travel arrangements, schedule personal appearances, or use established connections to get a client access to a party. Muhammand says, "We will do anything that is moral and legal." — Anne Clarrissimeaux
