"We feel that our curriculum is the optimal learning choice for students. Each course will enable students to learn proven, relevant new skills. They will also gain the respected credentials that transform learning experiences into workplace performance," said Corliss Willis, VP of Human Resources, Training and Development for CPAI
There is no time limit on the program, you start and go at your own pace, which means you do it when you have the time, not because you have to. Upon completion, students will be awarded certificates by CPAI and AMA as well as receive a minimum of 5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
"This accredited certification program is just another value-add we hope to bring to the growing community of personal assistants," commented CPAI founder Dionne M. Muhammad. "A certificate program assures uniform training and it establishes the corporate culture of CPAI as a "learning organization."
This is a very innovative idea and something that is not only obvious but should have been done long ago. In fact, some would think this is more important than most certifications. Personal Assistants have the capacity to do great things, or great harm. They have access to a great number of sensitive information, and typically personal information. Certification is a step in the right direction and we applaud CPAI for initiating it.
