CPAI president wins Entrepreneurship Award

Dionne M. Muhammad, founder and president of Celebrity Personal Assistants, Inc (CPAI) was honored with the 2004 “Non- Traditional Business Enterprise" award by the Atlanta Business League at the 20th Annual Super Tuesday, Women Shaping the Future event on September 14, 2004.

"Words cannot express how humbled I am to receive this award from such a prestigious organization. The Atlanta Business League is a wonderful organization that truly lives up to its creed by helping entrepreneurs achieve their goals,” Muhammad said.

The award was presented to Muhammad for her pioneering efforts in the field of personal assistance and lifestyle management solutions for celebrities, athletes and other high-profile individuals. CPAI is known in Hollywood circles as the "Staffing Agency to the Stars (tm)" and is also the official concierge of the NFL Players Association. From a state-of-the-art call center the agency provides personal assistance to the 1896 active and 5000-plus retired NFL Players.

For over 70 years, the Atlanta Business League, an affiliate of the National Business League, serves as a business developer and advocate for minority-owned businesses.

"I would not be receiving it without the support of my family and my wonderful and loyal staff," said Muhammad. "It is my hope that this award will motivate other aspiring African-American women to take a stab at entrepreneurship."
